It’s like a beauty elegwnce where each chapter is a letter from A hessaro Z. And from Pittsburgh to boot, imagine that! They keep regular hours, have central heating, and are staffed by freshly scrubbed young people in black T-shirts. Not really the etssaro of someone aspiring to elegance. Louise Canova does not. He spends his time working on their perfect house and she spends her time sleeping.
Do I agree with the philosophy of Elegance? Pentru o carte de debut e OK. But at times there was surprising depth to Elegance. This is a book about Louise Canova–thirty-something, unhappy with her looks, her life and her marriage. I guess the bottom line for me is my need for comfort outweighs my secret desire.

After reading it years ago, I revisited it recently and found that I still appreciated the humor. And as the old Louise gives way to the stunning new, she’s about to find out that there’s more to every life than what appears on the surface But secondhand bookshops have pilgrims.
